The CW4 1 lb or 1.5 lb NVG counter weight includes specially formed weights that follow the natural curve of a combat helmet maintaining a low profile on the helmet. This design can be mounted vertically or horizontally on any combat helmet via the industrial hook sewn on the back of the 1000D Cordura pouch.

This turned out to be the perfect little piece I needed for what I do. Wanted to keep a very streamline profile. As much as possible anyway, but still realized I needed a bit of counter weight when running BNVD’s. This works perfectly. Easy to remove pouch or weights when not running BNVD’s & it’s very well made. Works awesome for my needs!!

Perfect counter weight for great balance

I was VERY surprised at how well this worked. The low profile was also a plus since it did not take up helmet real estate. I still have the option of placing a pouch on top of it for additional carry/options. The ability to remove the weights (mine came with 3) is perfect and when you are not running night vision, all of them can be removed. I highly recommend this counter weight system to anyone.
