801/901incompatibility

Can EOG revise the 801/901 band as the two pins on back of the on the 801/901 can’t be removed to slip into the EOG wrist band loops ie not compatible. Additionally in rugged environments (high energy littoral zone or freefalling ) I have lost two bands w Garmin units ripped from my load carrying rig ie can the wrist band be redeveloped to have a hook and loop overlap strap to secure the write bad as sometimes the hook and loop become ineffective due to sand or the high energy environment necessitating a loop with parachord to the rig. Despite the foregoing I have used and the wrist straps have been durable. Thanks

Not for 801/901

Not compatible with Garmin Foretrex 801 because the bars are permanent. Need to redesign. The band is quality but I’m not happy about it.

Does not work for Garmin 801

The construction of the band is high quality and it is comfortable. The issue is that the Garmin 801 has permanent bars on it, not the springloaded kind the older versions came with. As a result ,you either have to cut the bars and replace them with springloaded ones which are not as durable or you have to rig the GPS onto the EOD armband..again not ideal and not why it was purchased. I reccomend a redesign for the EOD armband to make it compatible, secure and durable for the newer Garmin Foretrex devices.
