This may seem to be an extravagance .... but. The strap is more comfortable and more supportive than the black velcro original. Makes inputting of multiple targets on the 901's ballistic calculator much easier. Well made and changing out the batteries is simple. Recommend.
Very sturdy piece of kit. Absolutely no worries about losing your Garmin doing whatever activities you find yourself doing.
I really like this for the fortrex 801. It is high quality materials and build quality. Very secure for both the GPS and on your wrist. This is by far the best one I've found and I like that it doesn't cover the buttons or screen. Would buy again.
Works very good
Was always aggravated by stock narrow band sliding down my arm then riding up the back side of my hand and having it mounted elsewhere on a should strap or other gear just never quite worked for me. Having a band that is same width as device makes way more sense.
